At the University of Sydney, we believe in taking education out of the lecture theatre and into our city. We’ve been a leader in ideas for more than 160 years. We were one of the first universities in the world to admit students solely on academic merit, and to open our doors to women on the same basis as men. Our founders recognised the power of education and new ideas to change society. We hold that belief just as strongly today.
