Ella Hafermalz is an Associate Professor at VU Amsterdam's School of Business and Economics and the KIN Center for Digital Innovation.
Ella draws on interdisciplinary literatures to problematise dominant understandings of how online and offline worlds come together in the workplace, with a particular interest in how technology is involved in "the work of belonging". Ella is an active member of the Digital Disruption Research Group and the Sociomateriality Debating Group.
