Professor Stiglitz teaches at the Business School at Columbia University. He was awarded the 2001 Nobel Memorial Prize for Economics.
Professor Stiglitz helped create a new branch of economics ‘The Economics of Information’. He has written more than 34 books, including People, Power and Profits: Progressive Capitalism for an Age of Discontent.
